Once you place an order for one of our pieces of jewellery an ashes collection kit will automatically be sent out. We do not send out kits prior to an order being placed. Here at Angels Meadow we have a very strict process in place which we believe is paramount when dealing with people's ashes. We have a zero cross contamination policy. When you place your order a unique order number is generated against your name, this is placed onto the ashes collection pack. This number with your name is on every document we have for you ensuring the safety of your loved one’s ashes. When we receive a person’s ashes back, we know exactly who they belong.

No more than half a teaspoon of ashes will be required for any of our keepsake jewellery items. Our chamber style ash holding jewellery will vary depending on the size of the piece. When you place an order for one of our LifeStone™ keepsakes we will send out an ashes collection kit that includes a vial to collect some ashes. Please fill the vial and any left-over ashes will be returned with your finished piece.

We follow a strict process from start to finish and no two customers pieces of jewellery are ever made at the same time. All ashes are labelled with the customer’s name and order number details and are kept separately. We also provide a certificate of authenticity which shows the name of whose ashes the LifeStone™ contains.

Yes, all our jewellery, including our chamber style ash holding jewellery are both water and airtight. However, we would not recommend swimming in your jewellery due to the care of your metal.

Your jewellery will have a screw either located on the back, side or bail of your item. Each piece will come complete with a filling kit and easy to follow instructions. The filling kit includes a small funnel to assist with placing he ashes into the pendant, a toothpick for guidance of the ashes and a small screwdriver if necessary.

LifeStones™ are made from a special polymer resin which is UV resistant and will not fade, even in the direct sunlight! Unlike glass this will not crack or smash. This special resin is mixed with your loved one’s ashes, crushed diamonds and a unique blend of colouring agents that have been formulated by us.
